Hi,
I guess you are talking about installing the Openni-Kinect driver, as
described here:
http://www.ros.org/wiki/openni_kinect
As Jochen stated already, if you just follow step 3.1 (sudo apt-get
install ros-electric-openni-kinect)
you don't have to perform a source based installation from point 3.2.
